TikTok hack for scheduling posts
Hi All, I've started using tiktok and find it really easy to record and edit within the platform, but was struggling with batch recording to then be able to schedule posts, and so I feel like I just figured out the best way to do it (for me) and thought it might help others too.
If you record in the TikTok app, you can't schedule the post or download the video without the TikTok watermark unless the video has already been posted.
If you record in TikTok Studio, you can download it without the watermark and without posting, but it doesn't have all the same features i.e. captions.
So, I've started recording and editing in the TikTok app, posting to private, downloading (without the watermark), and then uploading into TikTok studio so I can schedule the post.
I know this sounds fiddly, but honestly, it's saving me so much time / mental load from needing to remember to post directly from the app.
It also means I can download and use the video for Instagram as well or other platforms - I recently used TikTok app to record & edit a recent LinkedIn video because I find it so much easier / faster to use.
Hope this has been helpful, and if anyone else has any tips, please feel free to share them!
