Hi, I'm Nikki 👋 I’m a tech founder, small business owner, and someone who’s spent a lot of time figuring things out the hard way. A lot of my business journey has been… pretty isolating. Late nights. Figuring things out on my own. Not having many people I could ask questions or bounce ideas off. I needed help - I just didn’t know where to go. Then something unexpected happened. I applied for an award (mostly to try and get funding)… and found myself surrounded by a group of incredibly smart, generous, kick-ass women. And it hit me: This is what’s been missing. Fast forward a little, and I found myself sitting in rooms hearing the same conversations over and over again… "There's a funding gap..." "We need more female founders..." “Why aren’t more women applying or showing up…” But the truth is — there are already so many women building incredible businesses. They’re just often overlooked because they don’t fit the mould. Or the spaces themselves aren’t designed for them - for women balancing work, family, and everything in between. And I was tired of hearing the same solutions too… More mentoring. More coaching. When what I (and so many others) really needed was: 👉 People in it with you 👉 A space to ask questions 👉 Access to funding, programs, and opportunities 👉 Real, practical support Because doing this alone is hard. But together? We can actually change things. The goal is simple - to reach 1,000 members and create real impact. To build a space where women support women (and allies). And as we grow, to create real opportunities - funding, scholarships, and support for women building businesses. Hello everyone, delighted to be here and very happy to learn about this platform Nikki! Community is needed, everywhere. I love your approach to community building (having seen it IRL) and look forward to seeing this spot blossom. I'm curious, what are people's thoughts about where our general relationship is at with the digital world? Seeing AI come in, I hope that people will become tired of being fooled and seek out places like this where they can have meaningful connections that are free from desperate self-promotion (Instagram does come to mind). I am a science journalist by training, and I'm horrified by the 'death of the expert' / rejection of education/ civilised discussion. Well, that kept me awake last night. Love to hear the thoughts of others and opinions on where things are headed.

Hi All, I've started using tiktok and find it really easy to record and edit within the platform, but was struggling with batch recording to then be able to schedule posts, and so I feel like I just figured out the best way to do it (for me) and thought it might help others too. If you record in the TikTok app, you can't schedule the post or download the video without the TikTok watermark unless the video has already been posted. If you record in TikTok Studio, you can download it without the watermark and without posting, but it doesn't have all the same features i.e. captions. So, I've started recording and editing in the TikTok app, posting to private, downloading (without the watermark), and then uploading into TikTok studio so I can schedule the post. I know this sounds fiddly, but honestly, it's saving me so much time / mental load from needing to remember to post directly from the app. It also means I can download and use the video for Instagram as well or other platforms - I recently used TikTok app to record & edit a recent LinkedIn video because I find it so much easier / faster to use. Hope this has been helpful, and if anyone else has any tips, please feel free to share them!

Hi All, it’s another sunny (maybe not) Monday and I thought it might be fun to everyone to share what they’re working on this week. This week, I thought I might record a video on how to create a custom GPT in ChatGPT so will post that later in the week for everyone. I’m also working on finishing our e-commerce shop for our farm, Duck Duck Pig and setting up a website for this little venture. What’s everyone else up to? And do you have anything you’re stuck on that you need some guidance or help with?
