The Best Way to Stockpile Equipment
If you are new to owning a business, you might be thinking to yourself "I wish there was a cheap way to get all of this equipment, how do people get equipment in bulk for a good price?" Today I'm going to share the #1 secret in order to get all of the equipment you could ever want without trying to break the bank! Are you ready? Facebook Marketplace Often VERY overlooked and underutilized, most of my current gym is furnished with equipment that I purchased off of Facebook Marketplace! From cardio equipment and bars all the way to full machines that were cleaned up or fixed you can always find someone getting rid of something on Marketplace for a good price! While there is a good portion of equipment that you will find on there that might not be the most ideal to purchase, normally you can find at least one or two hidden gems a week on there that just need picked up or cleaned up! Some other great ways to get you some nice equipment without paying full price would be to ask around to other local gyms that might do some equipment dealing in addition to running their own gym or there might be a member that knows of someone or has a connection to some equipment that is coming available! I would say around 50-60% of my gym currently has been equipment that I purchased through those methods, and the best part is you can utilize the same methods to sell and upgrade your pieces as you gain more members and get tired of pieces! What is one piece of equipment that you've bought for your gym that you love and found on Marketplace or through an equipment dealer?

The Iron Blueprint Introduction
Hi all, my name is Aaron Blades and I am the admin for the group "The Iron Blueprint". This will be a community centered around connecting and collaborating with other aspiring or current gym owners working to learn the ins and outs of starting and growing your gym to its full potential! A little about me, I started my gym Legacy Barbell Club in 2021 with nothing but a handful of pieces of equipment and two members. Today, I have doubled the size of the space in my gym and grown to 300+ members, 4 trainers, a massage therapist, physical therapist, an occupational therapist, and grown our social media and good presence from nothing to over 1k followers across all platforms and thousands of Google interactions a month without running any Google ads! I want to take the first post of this group to have everyone introduce themselves and also share what stage of the gym owning you are in currently! Excited to grow this group and help encourage and offer advice to other gym owners on ways to connect better with your members and scale your business!
