When work becomes all consuming
Hi ladies, So I need some cheering on. I have a business idea and I am absolutely terrified to explore beyond the business plan. Why? It’s the what ifs, it’s that I would have to commit to the journey and actually see it through. So what have I done as a distraction? What I always do. I have made my 9-5 all consuming, because I am brilliant at it. I can trust what’s happening, I can weather the storms the job brings. It’s safe! Work has become the thing because it’s an excuse no one can argue with. I am busy, I am distracted… Help!

Our live session tonite- Dealing with FEAR, pressing into BOLDNESS
What a wonderful guided meditation session we had tonight, dealing with the giant of fear and stepping into our promised land and actually seeing and feeling what It will look like. I'm off to the beautiful continent of Africa for the next few weeks and will be running an empowerment camp for teenage girls, so we will not have a live session then, but we will connect again when I get back and continue slaying those giants! Enemy #3: Fear – The Giant Standing Between You and Your Promised Land
Every promised land has giants. When Moses sent twelve spies into Canaan, all twelve saw the same land. They all witnessed the same abundance—grapes so large they had to be carried on a pole, fertile ground flowing with milk and honey, and incredible opportunity. Yet only two came back ready to possess it. The other ten allowed fear to distort their perspective. Instead of focusing on God's promise, they focused on the size of the obstacles. They declared, "We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them" (Numbers 13:33). Before the enemy ever defeated them, fear had already defeated them in their minds. How often do we do the same? Fear whispers: - What if I fail? - What if I lose everything? - What if I'm not qualified? - What if there isn't another opportunity? Fear keeps businesses small, dreams on the shelf, gifts hidden, investments delayed, conversations avoided, and doors unopened. But Caleb and Joshua carried a different spirit. They didn't deny the existence of the giants—they simply believed that God was greater. "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it." (Numbers 13:30) Your promised land will always require courage before it requires conquest. Tonight, we're exposing the enemy of fear and replacing it with faith, courage and decisive action. If God has promised it, don't allow fear to convince you that you were never meant to possess it.
