Day 8:
Yesterday, I said "practice what you teach," and today that phrase truly challenged me.
In my own planning system, I always emphasize factoring in time for "real life" interruptions.
Well, today I learned that lesson when I found myself in the Emergency Room with my husband. He's incredibly healthy and fit, which is exactly why I knew it was serious when he said, "I'm not feeling well. Please take me to the ER."
After the dust settled and we got good news, I had to practice what I preach. Although my plans were completely disrupted, I still managed to work on my YouTube thumbnails and finalize some details for my offer. I didn't get to edit next week's videos, but I did move my one thing forward—and that's what matters.
Now it's time to shift out of application mode and get this offer out to the public. Time to learn how to market my presence and step fully into this next phase.
Not a bad day, but I am mentally exhausted. Seeing my best friend—my husband—in pain when he's normally the one holding me up was a definite role reversal. But God prevailed, and all is well.
Still focused. Still pressing toward my goal.
