After 40, everything hurt. Joints, muscles, couldn't get a good pump at the gym, gaining weight but barely eating, always felt full/bloated and grumpy (sometimes ANGRY). As a life long athlete A+B no longer = C. Stress, Illness, Family, Marriage, Career... it ALL took priority over my health.
I never stopped training like a BEAST, but I didn't look or feel healthy in anyway. Traditional doctors were no help,
"It's just age..."
"Welcome to your 40's..."
"Eat less and exercise more..."
Fuck that. I knew my body was not working properly! I wasn't even digesting food correctly. Waiting for a doctor, a meal plan, or an insurance company to cover anything outside of the box was a waste of time. I had to take control of my own life. It all started with bloodwork, knowledge, and a shit ton of research.
Today I am 45, feel like I'm in my 20s again (ask my wife ;-)...) and help anyone interested in learning (men and women) how to feel better too!
