Something new
So I have a Metaquest. I do a lot of meditation and so forth in there. One of the apps that I love ,TRIPP, introduced a virtual sound bath.
I know the TRIPP team and they are lovely but I thought, how on earth can you put crystal bowls into a virtual world.
They did it though. I have been using it in addition to my physical bowls and here are my thoughts on it. 1. This is not a replacement for actual bowls. Though it is neat, it isn't the same.
2. What I have found it most useful for is composition. There is an option to have the bowl play indefinitely. So while it is doing that I can have my hands free to add other combinations in which have translated really well to my physical bowls.
3. My son now thinks my bowls are much cooler, lol.
Overall, it is an interesting app and may help others discover sound healing. For me it is a tool but not a replacement.
