About the Grace Garden
Through my years as a hospice nurse, I spent countless hours with the elderly—bearing witness to stories, wisdom, humor, grief, and love at the threshold of life. Those experiences revealed something sacred: we are living alongside immeasurable treasures, and so much of that wisdom is lost when there is no space to slow down, listen, and remember.
Later, my own body asked me to slow in a different way. As I learned to regulate my nervous system and return to presence, creativity reawakened.
Art became a place of safety. Story became a way home. I began to see how deeply creativity, regulation, and belonging are intertwined.
Grace Garden exists to bridge these worlds—the wisdom of elders with the magic of childlike wonder.
