Just listened to the Coffee with Ro conversation between Ro and Joyce. Great conversation— a lot was said that resonated with me! We are all externally “conditioned” since birth to live in society in certain ways. And we’ll always have these external voices and “shoulds” in our heads. Yoga gives us a practice where we can BE. Be in our bodies, notice how it feels, focus on the core of who we are, integrate, and notice these thoughts while realizing we are not our thoughts. Yoga, for me, provides calmness and clarity. It’s not a “fix-it” mindset where every situation is a puzzle with a final, definitive answer. It’s a practice — a continuous, evolving routine of learning that reframes how I handle everyday challenges. And it helps me navigate the ups and downs in life more gracefully.
