The Good Humans Society Board Member Expectations
As a Board Member, you play a vital role in guiding and supporting our mission: Good humans doing good deeds.
Time Commitment
• Attend 4–6 board meetings per year (virtual or in-person).
• Approx. 2–3 hours per month of involvement (meetings, reviewing nominations, or committee work).
Responsibilities
• Mission & Vision: Help guide the direction of The Good Humans Society.
• Participation: Join at least one committee (e.g., Fundraising, Nominations, Outreach).
• Advocacy: Be an ambassador — share our mission in your community and network.
• Support: Assist in fundraising efforts (through personal contributions, introductions, or event help).
Financial Expectations
• Make a personal annual contribution at a level meaningful to you (no set amount; all gifts matter).
• Encourage others (friends, businesses, or networks) to support when possible.
Term
• Initial term: 2 years (renewable).
• Goal: Build a founding board of committed, passionate Good Humans.
