So the learning doesn't stop just because life takes a left turn 😂🤣😂. The sun hasn't been up for a few days now so the Solar isn't charged up enough to pump water to the nursery... But, we have a contingency plan..... Until the pump decides not to work 🤣😂🤣😂. TIA at its finest.. That's why we have biogas plan in the works as well, aaaand wind turbine too for later. ... That workshop build is really pushing itself up the to do list...

The guys are not waiting ABOUT...🤗😁💃🕺. They have started trials for breeding in our new refurbished 'hatchery....🤗

After MONTH'S and MONTHS we FIIIIINALLY had a breakthrough and got some Azolla on site aaaand some Clarias gariepinus(Catfish) to improve our genetics as well.🤗🤗😁💥💃🔥🎉🤯🥳😎🕺. And yes, for the astutely savey members in our tribe, the Azolla is sun scorched,but that's going to self correct in our roofed space whilst we nurse it to it's vibrant self... WHHHOOOOP WHHHOOOOP 🎉🔥🔥🔥🔥😂

So a few questions on the dirty trials currently happening with the black soldier fly. It starts off with feed source....What is your main input going to be? In our context we had to look directly at what our local farmers were already doing.. Many of the farmers rely on palm oil production. You see the palms EVERYWHERE where we are located.... So start locally. Where are you going to get your 'waste' from? Maybe the coffee shop near you(coffee grounds)? The diner/restaurant down the street? Your kitchen and garden even.... Depending on your goals, you get to decide how big or small you want to go.
