I am sharing this to empower you! I am sharing this to show you that whatever people may say, you should believe in God's gift to you and your journey guided by Him! Last night a girl I went to school with, who was friends with me on Facebook, decided to phone me and tell me that I am preying on poor people with my scamming business. When I tried to explain what it is I do, she wouldn't listen and kept repeating, "No Jaclyn, no Jaclyn, no, no, no..." To be honest, I think she may have been a bit drunk. But nevertheless, when I realised that she wouldn't listen to a word I said or let me speak, I ended the call and blocked her. How many of you, chose not to post on Facebook because you are worried what people are going to think and say? The truth is there will always be people who disagree with what you are doing, because we all have our own beliefs, wihch we are entitled to. Is digital marketing a scam - absolutely not, in fact it is exponentially successful every single day. Is selling a digital product you created in anyway less important than a person who owns a book store or car wash or law firm? NOT AT ALL. WE each share our values and serve others in different ways, all necessary and all valid. I blocked that woman last night because I will only allow positivity around me and my business and to teach the algorithm the type of people not to show my content to. As simple as that. Was I upset? No. I was annoyed that I wasn't given the opportunity to speak but that just shows how irrational this person was. There will be the ignorant few who don't believe in what you're doing, and that is ok! Show up anyway! Water off a ducks back! Really. You are amazing, I believe in you, your business and your talents and God certainly does too! The other day I had been crying and my eyes were swollen, but even though I felt demotivated and depressed, I showed up. I didn't even have the energy to put make up on....
