What is the cost of narcissism? Usually we think of cost in terms of money or currency. Certainly that can weigh into dealing with narcissism. It could be the cost of divorce, child support, alimony, losing a job, or any other way narcissism lands on our financial situations. However, another cost which goes under the radar is peace of mind, and how dealing with narcissism steals any kind of happiness or joy in our lives. Narcissism costs us sleep, clarity and sanity. In short, it destroys the human experience. Moreover, the world has moved to a new generation of social media and AI. It seems like this has just compounded the epidemic of narcisssism and it's reach. Narcissism has been around for thousands of years but never before has it had the toxicity reach that it has today, and it's only going to get worse. The problem here is, narcissists may only compose about 10% of the population, but they control the masses. They hold the highest offices because of the control and power these positions offer. Taking back society from the hands of narcissists is where we have to turn to in order to turn around the world from becoming an absolute chaotic and unworkable place to co-exist.
