Should we suffer as we build a business?
Just in case you have not seen this fabulous podcast of the time Alex Hormozi spent with Tony Robbins, it's well worth the time to watch it. Look for the conversation on suffering for a business. Skool is a delightful place to build a business, we should enjoy the time we spend on here, don't get me wrong there are moments that test us, but this is not a place to dwell, we visit tough, hard & suffering, but we don't live there. This is a super conversation, between two people I really admire, I hope you enjoy it too and I hope it helps you build your Skool in a fulfilling and happy way. 😊
Heard of the 80/20 Rule?
Before the week runs away with you, pause for a moment. What’s ONE thing you could do this week that would make you feel proud when Friday arrives? There’s a principle called the Pareto Principle. In simple terms, most results come from a surprisingly small number of actions. 80/20 rule. 80% of your results come from 20% of your actions. So you need to make your actions count. In real life, that looks like this: - A small handful of actions create most of your progress - A few key conversations or decisions move things forward - One brave step often unlocks momentum everywhere else - For me with Skool this means cold DM’s, I don’t really like doing them, but they get a result. The problem is most people spend their week stuck in the safe stuff. Emails. Admin. Tweaking things that are already fine. Staying busy so they can avoid being uncomfortable. Meanwhile, the ONE thing that would actually help build your Skool community or progress it to the next level keeps getting pushed to “next week” So here’s your reset. What’s is that ONE thing that, if you did it this week, would move your needle? Not ten things. Not a to-do list longer than your arm. One. Drop it below. Name it. Then protect it like it matters. Because it does. This is how Skools grow, by doing that 20%, not the 80 🤩
