Good evening everyone, my name is Tommy Laino. I am currently the recruiting coordinator, hitting instructor and bench coach at the College of Staten Island, a Division II baseball program that competes in the East Coast Conference. I have 4 children, one of which competed at the JUCO and D2 level, one that competes in high school softball and 2 others that are at Little League ages. I'm sure you are asking yourself, "why is he telling us this?" It's quite simple really, I have been in your shoes. Whether you are a first time little league coach, parent who's trying to navigate the recruiting process or a higher level coach looking for additional information, I have been there and in most cases on all 3 sides of the equation. My goal here is to give you some insight, tips and tricks that can help you along your journey in baseball. I will posting once a week and I will do my best to get to you more than that if possible.
