I don't mean the obvious stuff. I mean the layers. The systems you built for the systems. The strategy on top of the strategy. The planning for the plan.
Here's what I've noticed with a lot of the entrepreneurs I work with, and honestly, what I've caught myself doing too: when things feel uncertain or stuck, we tend to add more.
More steps. More tools. More structure.
As if doing more will somehow get us out of the feeling that we're not doing enough.
But...that's not momentum. That's just noise dressed up as productivity.
This month we're talking about simplification, because the businesses that actually move forward aren't the most complicated ones. They're the most clear.
