Welcome to The Care Staff Community! This is a safe and professional space for UK care assistants and support workers to share their experiences, advice and encouragement with fellow workers in the sector.
I'm Tash, and I've worked in the sector since 2018, achieving my Level 3 in Adult Care in 2020 and moving up to Senior Support Worker.
We all know just how tough this sector can be - and while the rewarding nature and smiling faces of the people we support are the things that give us the passion to continue, we often neglect to take care of ourselves too.
That's the goal for this space - support for the supporters.
You can choose between staying in the free group, where we have four weekly posts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, or take advantage of the extra resources in premium. Either way, you are warmly welcomed, highly appreciated, and will be supported 💙
