Topic 1. Loss of a child.
I'd love to be able to openly speak on this. As a parent, the last thing on our minds is planning a funeral. We begin our journeys to being parents doing our best to make sure that everything is perfect. We make sure that everything that we do, we do for them. The nursery, breastfeeding if able, babyproofing as they get older, schooling, acttivities...... All of it, we try to do perfectly. Sometimes we get the pregnancy only to bond, these are our Rainbow babies. Then sometimes we get a few minutes, days, years...... these are our angels taken too soon. As parents dealing with loss, how do we move on? How do we pass these significant moments in life without breaking down completely? May we all have an open conversation lifting one another up in this holiday season.
