My iPad — the one that had everything I was working on — decided to crash during a software update. Completely corrupted. Wouldn’t turn on properly. I had to factory reset it.
And here’s the part that really tested me…
It wasn’t backed up to iCloud.
Which means I lost everything. 😱
My notes.
My course work.
My planner entries inside GoodNotes.
All of it.
Gone.
I’m not going to pretend that didn’t hit me in the gut. It did. I had to step away, breathe, and choose my response very intentionally. Because in moments like that, you have two options: spiral… or stabilize.
Yes, it’s a setback. Yes, I now have to recreate work and move quickly to restore what I can. But here’s what I know — challenges don’t mean you’re off path. Sometimes they mean you’re being refined for the next level.
Instead of seeing this as something happening to me, I’m choosing to see it as something happening for me.
A pause.
A reset.
A reminder to put the right systems in place before I launch my mini course. A nudge to slow down and build even stronger foundations.
Lesson learned the hard way? Absolutely.
But growth rarely feels convenient.
What matters most is how we respond when things don’t go according to plan. Entrepreneurs are not defined by smooth seasons — we’re defined by how we handle the storms.
🌷Affirmation for today: "I respond to challenges with clarity, strength, and resilience. Every obstacle strengthens my foundation."🌷
Now I want to hear from you — what’s a recent setback you’ve experienced, and how are you choosing to respond to it?
