What is the question?
Have you ever noticed that when we communicate with one another, it is mostly just the assertion of statements? That when a question is asked, either casually or seriously, the assertion of statements seems to override the question that is being posed? Leaving very little space and time for the act of questioning, honesty and discovery to flower in the minds of those who are in active communication. As someone who is observant and inquisitive, this constant propagating of statements, along with the lack of questioning, is troubling. For how are we to obtain clarity, stillness and understanding without asking questions, without questioning what is the correct question to ask? Thus the interest in creating this community where the art and practice of questioning is not only welcomed but deeply cherished. Can we communicate together as friends and explore the depth and art of questioning? I sense that we can. So I ask, what is the question?
