Cowboy Poetry Live
🤠 Before you write another cowboy poem...
I want to share something with you.
Many of us had never heard of cowboy poetry until this challenge. Reading it on a page is one thing—but hearing it performed is something entirely different.
Cowboy poetry is meant to be told like a story around a campfire. Listen to the rhythm. Notice the pauses, the humor, and how the poet pulls you into the journey.
After you watch the video, come back and tell us:
What did you notice about the way cowboy poetry is performed that surprised you?
Then, if you'd like, read your own cowboy poem out loud. You might hear it in a completely different way.
