I searched the whole south side of Crystal Lake and only found them here. There is a pine tree root that's is submerged and under it the specks hang out. This is some of the cleanest water in Broward county. The speck are dark and average about 11 inches long. Super deep water and be careful because as you can see in my video there is a cliff under water that goes straight down to about 15-20 feet. Fish the left side and front of the root. Tons of hang ups so bring enough gear. Night time fishing is good here. I used a submersible light so that no one can see that I was fishing there. Parking is easy. Pull up on the sidewalk and park in the grass. Good luck! This is the 1st time ever that this spot has been exposed to the public. Here a few vids of the fish...
