Because When You Give Up There’s A Few Things That Happens:

Mentally: Your brain stops fighting for the goal

When you give up, your mind shifts into “protection mode.”

It thinks: This is too much, too hard, too painful let’s avoid it.
You might feel temporary relief, but over time you also feel:
