Next up on the Plate for AI? (NIL Lawyers)

For those who may be thinking (if your not college sports fans) what is this guy writing about? Well, NIL is Name Images and Likeness in college sports where college athletes across the board (and yes even 45 high school in the US have passed) can make money off of their Names, Images and Likeness.

And here is something that is going to come up next with AI (mark my words). The Lawyers in NIL deals (I initially coined the phrase Now Its Legal back in 2019) are going to be starting to write language around AI in sports contracts and who wants to bet that this will be a way to bring AI in (after the initial contract) and then either nix the contract or try and re-do it by using AI instead of the real athlete.
