A client came to me after getting his real estate landing page built. Looked clean, modern, good UI… but it wasn’t converting or holding attention.
So instead of jumping into redesign, I did one simple thing
I went through the website like a customer
And that’s where things became clear
The problem wasn’t design
It was direction
• no clear next step
• too many options at once
• messaging wasn’t matching what a buyer/seller is actually looking for
• important actions (like inquiry or booking) were not obvious
Basically… people were landing and getting confused
So we fixed that part
simplified the flow
made one clear path
aligned it with how a real estate buyer actually thinks
And that alone changed how the page behaves
Big learning again:
good design ≠working design
You don’t always need a “better looking” website
you need a website that guides people clearly
That’s why you’ll see many simple websites perform better than fancy ones
Because they do one thing well
they make it easy to take action
Curious if anyone else has seen this
a good-looking site that just doesn’t work?
