Great article in a local independent newspaper, asking the question of whether a day of service makes the structural impact that's needed in our communities. (Spoiler alert: It doesn't.)

So my question for this community: Is a day of service better than nothing? Or does it just make us feel absolved from the real work of anti-racism?
