I've reviewed dozens of pieces of email copy here,
And I saw a lot of repetitive mistakes in each email,
So let me write them down, so you can use them as a Great Copy Proof List.
=Text is one piece of block - Split it into multiple shorter lines, sometimes use the whole sentence.
=Grammar mistakes - English might be your 2nd language, so download Grammarly to correct your text.
=No flow - Your lines should tie in and make sense from the beginning until the end. Read it out loud.
=Robot - First write your own copy and after that put it into Ai to improve. You don't wanna sound like a robot. Also, don't take the whole copy from Ai, just parts, which you like and make your copy better.
=Too wordy - Once you are done writing your copy, delete as much text as you can. Anything that you will delete and the text will still make sense, delete it. We want a short text, not a textbook.
=No context - If you don't provide us any context about the copy (who is it for, the goal of the email...), we can't review it as precious as we could, because we don't know the backstory.
=No permission to review - Put your copy into Google Docs, share it, select ''Everyone with the link'' and permit us to comment on it.
Next time you want to get your copy reviewed, first check this Copy Proof List and after that review it.
