I've struggled a lot with kneading pizza dough.
I'll explain what it's got to do with copywriting in just a minute.
But hear me out first...
I didn't know the proper technique to make that non-sticky, smooth and perfectly round ball out of the all-purpose flour.
No matter how many videos I watched or recipes I read, I always ended up with the super gooey, ew-ey(damn I'm just coining words now) texture.
Until recently...
When I understood what I was doing wrong.
I added too much liquid content into the flour, at once and all!
You see, trial and error taught me the trick was to add the water/milk ๐ด๐ญ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ญ๐บ.
Pressing and stretching the dough gradually was what brought its beautiful texture out.
Now, let's come to the copywriting part.
You're probably making the same mistake as I did, and hurting your growth as a writer.
How?
If you're:
- Consuming lots and lots of advice everyday
- Reading many pages of books on copywriting
- Listening to a number of guroos daily
It'll cause harm to your pizza d-, I mean, mind.
So instead, try doing the real thing.
Don't just stay in your comfort zone, reading and observing...
Go write that ad, smack that email, even if you don't have clients.
Because trial and error is what's gonna land you the perfect recipe for success.
And that's it.
I hope you enjoyed the post. Do lemme know about your thoughts in the comments.
