I was recently gifted a beautiful box of carefully packaged Harry and David pears, and I have always wondered why they wrap just 1 single pear out of 9 in gold paper. Is it to just suggest the value of these fruits without the expense of wrapping every single one in gold?
And they always put a personal card in there of who wrapped my pears in the box (why should that even matter to me?) I suppose that shows that the operation takes great care and pride in every step of the process. What are your thoughts?
