Facing addiction
I've got to be honest with you guys, I have been sober from new years eve, cannabis was my drug of choice, not only that sexual immorality has played its part in my life for a long time and I have also abstained from anything like that since new years eve! Aswell as caffiene and chocolate since 3 weeks ago, now I have given up sugar since a week and a half, and that is including carbs! I'm on a strict carnivore diet, this is purely to get me body back to optimal health, and let me tell you, I feel absolutely drained by the end of each day, this is a serious mission that im on, and I struggle in my brain with it, but that being said I haven't slipped and do not intend to, my only question I have, is will I feel better? Will I gain energy levels back and sharpness, I'm fighting the good fight and trying to get closer to god and jesus christ and putting faith first that itl be OK, glad to be a part of a community where we can share our struggles and I wish everyone the best on there journeys, I know you can all do it 🙏
Hydrolytes/electrolytes
I would also like to share that, in addition to ginger, I've noticed that during this caffeine withdrawal phase, I feel the need to replenish hydrolytes/electrolytes, and I'm also drinking a lot of coconut water and sports drinks (without caffeine), and that's helping me too...
Just Finished a 1 week Youtube and Social Media Detox and Good Results...
On my 6 week no coffee, I thought i would cut out youtube and all social media for one week, mainly to stop the news feed scrolling and consuming content, and create more. Youtube content i have watched everyday for some years now. I actually found it easier than i thought, and more in the present moment over the week, happier and also being aware of my own thoughts and creativity, I wrote quite a few blog posts also and found great joy in doing that! Going back to youtube yesterday i felt not that interested to watch much, just Justins latest video and another one, I found the newsfeed and scanning videos quite draining so put my phone down and just focused on being present, feel I can go a bit longer, thought i'd share, as Youtube was my biggest problem and was easier than i thought

Day 12
Does the ingenuity/creativity/intelligence/non-frazzled come back?
Now I'm officially sober :)
Alright I did it. Cleaned up my two remaining problems: got off the caffeine completely and decided to stop watching any YouTube content that isn't directly useful or aligned to my goals (I'm actually starting a channel, so yeah it nuanced). Gonna start my sobriety counter as of today, marking it in my calendar 🔥
