Stop Being the Bottleneck in Your Own Business
If every decision in your business requires you, your business cannot grow past your calendar. Every question comes to you. Every problem lands on your plate. Every team member waits on your approval before they move. That is not leadership. That is four people’s jobs held by one person. The fix is one document. List your five most common recurring decisions. Write the rule for each one — “if X happens do Y, if it costs more than Z come to me.” Post it where the team can see it. Stop answering those five questions yourself. That document removes you from 80% of daily decisions.

Stop Overthinking Systems
A system is not software. It is a documented way of doing something that works every time — without you. Three things. That is all a system is: 1. The steps written down in order 2. Who is responsible for each step 3. What done looks like A checklist on paper qualifies. Start there. My first business system was handwritten. Not an app. Not a CRM. A piece of paper — and that piece of paper is what let us bring on a second person without quality dropping. The system does not have to be perfect to work. It just has to exist.
