Check this out.
Last night, a CPA that I connected with on LinkedIn booked a call with me.
It was kind of unexpected because my LinkedIn performance has been rough this week (all good though cause I’ve been focusing my efforts here😉).
On the call he told me he had just started his CPA firm.
I told him what I was building here.
After about 30 minutes, he said, “I may have some work for you if you’re interested.”
This came after I literally told him I don’t do outsourced bookkeeping.
Why I’m telling you this:
1) Get. Active. On. LinkedIn. Today. We connected over 1 month ago and he reached out to me. LinkedIn produced that.
2) Bookkeepers, your skills are in demand, rest assured. You just have to learn how to market it.
3) Connect with CPAs. Even if you don’t do work for them, they often have more than they can handle. You can get great referrals there.
4) Join Collin Strachan’s community for optimizing your LinkedIn👇
I still might consider doing work for him. But if I do, it is so I could broaden my experience and teach you guys about what I’m learning.
