🇫🇷 MONDAY VOCABULARY CHALLENGE — Stop saying “TRÈS”!
Want your French to sound more natural in the TEF/TCF exam? One simple improvement is to replace très + adjective with more precise vocabulary. 🎯 Your challenge: Replace the expression in bold with ONE stronger adjective. 1️⃣ Le prix des logements est très élevé. 2️⃣ Après ma journée de travail, je suis très fatigué(e). 3️⃣ Cette expérience était très intéressante. 4️⃣ Il est très important d’apprendre la langue du pays. 5️⃣ J’étais très surpris(e) par cette nouvelle. 🔥 NCLC 7 Bonus Choose ONE of the five sentences and develop it into a 2–3 sentence TEF/TCF-style argument. Try adding a connector such as: En effet • Par conséquent • De plus • C’est pourquoi • Ainsi 💬 Post your 5 answers in the comments. 🇫🇷 WEEKEND SPEAKING CHALLENGE — TEF/TCF Oral
Imagine you’re in the exam and your friend tells you: « Je voudrais apprendre le français, mais je suis trop occupé(e) pour suivre des cours. » 🎯 Your mission: Convince your friend to start learning French anyway. Give 3 different responses: A — Give a practical solution. B — Explain one benefit of learning French. C — Use the conditionnel to persuade your friend. 🔥 NCLC 7 Bonus: Include one of these expressions naturally: Même si… | Il faudrait que… | À ta place… | Cela te permettrait de… 💬 Write your A, B and C in the comments. I’ll be looking for natural French, good argument development, and convincing expressions — exactly what you need for the speaking exam. No translator! 😄 Try with the French you already know.
