Kingdom Teacher, July is a season to breathe. The school year asked a lot of you. Before the next one begins, God is not asking you to rush or produce. He is inviting you to rest in Him and be refilled. This week’s prayer focus: Lord, help me truly rest the way You have designed me to. Renew my mind and prepare my heart for what You have next. I trust You with the season ahead. “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 Now I would love to pray with you. I finally wrapped things up this past Friday and I celebrate that I made it. And I celebrate you too if you are done. If you are not done, know that I am still keeping you in prayer. Whether you have a few weeks, few days left, I want us to close this school year together with prayer. This week, let’s focus on two prayers from our 7 Prayers to Help Teachers Finish Strong journey: Walking in the Fruit of the Spirit and Finishing Strong. Walking in the Fruit of the Spirit: because weariness can make it harder to respond with patience, gentleness, and self-control. The fruit isn’t something we produce alone it flows from staying connected to God. Finishing Strong: God’s Word reminds us not to grow weary in doing good, because in due season we will reap if we do not give up. May God strengthen you to finish not in your own strength, but in His. This week, let’s pray together: Lord help me respond Your way and not out of my flesh. Strengthen me to finish this year well with your grace, mercy and your peace.
