Ways to Center Student Voice
🏆Lately, I’ve been sitting in a lot of meetings where adults are trying to “fix” student behavior, improve culture, or write new pledges and policies…with almost no actual student input.
And every time, I’m reminded: if students aren’t a part of the solution, we’re mostly just rearranging the furniture.
From a recent coaching conversation, a few simple practices stood out that really helped the teacher center student voice in a realistic, sustainable way
