As we get closer to tax season, what you know — and how well you apply it — will set you apart. ⚖️Tax Pro Lesson of the Day: Due Diligence is NOT optional. If a return includes EITC, CTC, AOTC, or Head of Household, you are required to: - Ask the right questions - Verify information - Keep documentation - Complete and retain Form 8867 This protects your PTIN, your EFIN, and your reputation. Midweek check-in: if your workflow isn’t clear now, it will feel chaotic in January. Use today to simplify. 💡Tax Pro Focus: Your client intake + document process should be crystal clear. Ask yourself: - Do clients know exactly what documents to bring? - Is there a secure upload option? - Are follow-ups automated or manual? A smooth intake sets the tone for the entire return. 🧠Midweek Motivation: “Systems create confidence. Confidence creates consistency.” You don’t need to do everything — you need to do the right things well. ✅Today’s Task: Review your client checklist and remove anything unnecessary.
