I am on a few platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, and Bluesky. But to market my business, I concentrate on LinkedIn. I work with business professionals and that's a logical place to be. As it turns out, I had a few people work with me who were not referrals but found me on LI, which is great. Bluesky has been hard to make traction on, and Instagram likes graphics, photos and videos, and I don't lean into visuals as part of my social media posts. Where do you hang out online? Do you use social media to market your business, and which platform do you find the best results?

It's Monday! What are all of you planning to get done or things to move forward this week? For me, I'm finishing and reviewing with my coach, a funnel that will bring in business pros who want to write a book, but don't know where to start in terms of the help they need. Plus, was just on a call with members of a national women business owners group and had so many ideas come to me about sharing how I am writing a book and proposal--sort of giving them an inside look at the process--and invite them to do that in a community--either substack or upcoach. Now it's your turn? What's on your agenda this week?

Last year was my first full year going all in on my personal growth coaching business- it was also my lowest revenue year (I had ran a social media management/ consulting business for 6 years full time and coached part time). As I reflected on how I found coaching leads, I realized the power of referrals and networking was huge. Most of my clients came from people who heard about me simply because I used my voice and shared what I do. A few found me through Instagram, and one speaking event even led to two clients. Since last year was a slower season for me (pregnancy + restructuring my business), I’m now focused on finding more ways to generate leads and scale my impact. One of my big goals this year is to do more paid speaking engagements and corporate coaching on topics like personal growth, emotional intelligence, time management, values, confidence, and communication skills. So, I’d love to ask: • Do you know of conferences or companies that pay speakers? • Any ideas on how to partner with companies to bring personal growth coaching into their workplace? Pretty proud of myself today. I made some decisions about my membership community that seem to be really great...so far...AND I posted on social media again, finally. 😂 I feel like I have a flow going, or at least it's starting to. This was all while managing to keep my son on track with his Eagle Scout work he's wrapping up, homeschool, caring for animals, birthday party for my daughter, and working on my gardening ideas.
