The womb is not a place to store fear and pain, says a beautiful 13 moon Munay ki ritual I am giving to women in my workshops and sessions. Indeed, our womb is a place of power and creative fertility, but when clogged with repressed emotions and traumas we suffer and we become disconnected from this center. One way to approach this reality of the womb and heal the wounds and the pain, is combining family constellation/trauma therapy with art therapy. The body is very responsive to our creative endeavors and looking to the womb though the lenses of our creative expression can make this exploration more alive and also going deeper, towards unveiling the hidden mechanisms behind the pain and suffering.
