My kids love making gem art. The fine motor and emotional regulation benefits alone make it a worthwhile activity to always have on hand!

So far, this has been a really interesting and fun group. I have a question; does anyone else find it challenging to teach young children and preoccupy the others that cannot yet do independent bookwork and are waiting for their turn with mom? What are some tips out there? I set out puzzles and board games for them to experiment with on their own. They are getting bored and I’m not found if their attitude or short attention span after using screens even though they are using educational screen materials.
