Podcast update - two big guests locked in
As of this morning, I've confirmed conversations with two incredible guests: JMO is VP of Creative at The Bus Music, a boutique Nashville-based music publishing company. He built his foundation in film/TV and digital operations at BMI and has secured sync placements with Netflix, Hulu, HBO, NBC, ABC, Google, and Nike for artists including Megan Thee Stallion and Mary J. Blige - with music appearing in Grey's Anatomy, The Rookie, Insecure, Cobra Kai, and hundreds more. Heather Evans is a prolific, award-winning singer/songwriter and sync educator who has placed her independent music on Netflix (First Kill, Love Is Blind), MTV (Teen Mom 2), NBC (La Brea promo), Disney, FOX (So You Think You Can Dance), and Nickelodeon - all without traditional representation. She's also the latest addition to the Glow Music Group team. More details coming soon.

My First Track
I don't know genres. Please help me know what genre this is. Also let me know what you think - mood - where this would fit - if you think it needs more done to it or if i should scrap it and start something new. Can you tell that i'm a nervous wreck - trying something new here🫣 https://s.disco.ac/wdhgporjrbfx
🏆 Member Spotlight — Week 2
Three people stood out this week — not because they had the most tracks or the best mix, but because they did the thing that actually moves the needle: showed up honestly and took the next step anyway. @Terry Bradford posted their first-ever track scared, took feedback on the chin, and came back days later with a tighter mix. That's the whole process in one week. 🔥 @Randi Holder (aka Onlii) joined as a blind, independent artist with zero industry guidance and led with openness instead of obstacles. That kind of courage sets the tone for everyone. 🙌 @Dawn Dineen came back after a discouraging first attempt at sync, named exactly what held her back, and posted a concrete 30-day goal out loud. That's what accountability actually looks like. 💪 This community grows when people are real about where they are and keep moving anyway. These three did that this week. Who's next? Drop what you're working on below. 👇

Hi, everyone! My name is Jenn, and I'm a former music teacher from Wisconsin, now a music producer and vocalist living in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm incredibly excited to get started in the Sync Accelerator Program next week. Finishing tracks is 100% my biggest hurdle in getting started on this journey. I'm sure you can all relate: perfectionism, overthinking every sound, comparison. 🤪 But 2026 is the year I'm ready for a new mindset, and to start, I've made myself of a goal of finishing three tracks in March! (2 nearly finished, one just getting started for my husband's band) Always looking for other artists to collaborate with too, so feel to introduce yourself too! I create mainly pop music but am very open to branching out. Talk to ya'll soon!
