I participated in a mix & match last week and it was incredibly fun! I think it’s important to go beyond your comfort zone when learning and trying new moves, it might be precarious to try them out during a competition but you’d be surprised at what you can achieve under pressure. Let's play around with momentum this month Instructions: 1. Pick a style to try this out with (Lindy, Balboa, Collegiate Shag) 2. Create a dance phrase that uses at least 3 different patterns Maintain and manipulate momentum creatively for one continuous dance phrase (1–2 minutes) without breaking the flow. Your momentum should channel energy through musicality.
