Sharing everything I’ve learned about youth competitive swimming—from daily practices and coaching dynamics to travel logistics, especially from the perspective of minority athletes/parents. I'm diving into the good, the bad, and the ugly. My daughter was in the water early at five months, started lessons at just two years old, began competing at age seven, and by age nine, she was the youngest competitor at Age Group Nationals in Florida. Today, she is a high school freshman swimming on varsity, ranked both statewide and nationally. I have a wealth of knowledge to share, and I’m still learning as I go. Join us on this journey!
