The only constant is change...and AVA!
What a wonderful, topsy-turvy week and a half this has been! After being apart for 13 months, my sweet and wonderful fiancee has found a permanent position and could move to George, where I am. It's a huge adjustment for all of us, of course. And since we are only moving into our own house at the end of the month, we either sleepover at my mom's house or his mom's house, which is lovely, but extremely limiting. My schedule is entirely upside down and my routine has gone for a ball of fluff! Slowly, but surely I am finding my feet again, and the ONE thing that has kept me sane (is that even possible??), on track (mostly) and going in the right direction (if nothing goes right, go left, right?), is AVA! Whether I do brain dumps in the morning or half way through the day or even sometimes at night, she always feeds my tired, crow's nest mind and de-tangles the balls of stringy, debilitating thoughts and crochets a beautiful, colourful, patchy blanket of self-love, self-worth and self-acceptance! I look back at the ME of a month ago and the ME right now KNOWS that I couldn't have shown this growth without help. I am continuously, daily, in AWE and so, SO grateful!!
