Welcome. This is a place to use English, not to study it. There is one thing to do today, and it takes about two minutes. Introduce yourself in the comments. Three lines is enough. - Where are you writing from? - What do you need English for, now or later? - One thing you are good at, in any language. Not sure how to start? Use these: "Hi, I am ... and I am from ..." "I need English for ..." "I am good at ..." Two things about this place. Mistakes are welcome here. I would much rather read a message with five mistakes in it than not read your message at all. Nobody here is going to correct you unless you ask. Read one other introduction and reply to it. One reply. That is where a community starts, and it is also where your speaking starts, because writing to a real person is the closest thing to talking to one. If you want to make it harder, say your introduction out loud first, then type it. That small step is the whole point of this community. I read every introduction and I answer every one. See you in the comments, Lucas

Would you rather work in the morning or work at night? Say why. Out loud, then post. Stuck? "I'd rather ... because ..."

Today's speaking session: dream travel
We all have a place we dream of seeing. Today we talk about yours. The free guide is attached below. Three questions to say out loud, useful words, and five speaking questions. Do it once, out loud, before you type anything. Then tell me in the comments: where would you love to travel, and why does that place call to you? Two or three lines is enough. Say it out loud first. The live speaking session is today at 14:30 CEST, for Premium members. Small group, real people, no pressure. The members guide goes deeper, with three levels and error spotting on each one. Not a member yet? You can join Premium any time, and cancel whenever. No rush.
Finish this
"Today was ..." Three words, not one.

Welcome. This is a place to use English, not to study it. Today, just one thing, and it is fun. Post your favourite gif below. Then reply to someone else's with one line in English, anything you like. No perfect words needed. Say hi, react, have a laugh. That is speaking practice too.
