Soldering made easy? I just LOOKED easy lol
I've just seen a YouTube video of a person using silver solder paste to solder a copper jump ring using a torch (like our firing torches). It looked too easy? He didn't appear to use flux or any probes or anything. Just quenched pickled and polished it after.
Is it actually THAT simple? Why do I see soldering kits with probes , various fluids etc? Thank you.
