🍂 October Theme: Change
Hey everyone 👋. As the leaves begin to fall, this month we’re leaning into one of life’s most constant companions: change. 💡 Challenge: Write a song that captures a feeling of transition. It could be about a season of your life, a relationship shifting, or even the feeling of watching the leaves fall. Change can be scary, but it’s also the doorway to growth. Reflection questions to get started: - What’s something in your life right now that is shifting or evolving? - How do you usually respond to change? With resistance, excitement, fear, or openness? - What have you learned from past changes that you can carry into the present? - If change were a character in your life, what would they be teaching you? Let us know what comes up for you!

Here's where my track is at..
This process is requiring a lot of energy. Life is busy! Whenever I can get a chance to take an hour to create, I do :). Hope y'all are having a great week.

🌙 September Theme: Pain → Purpose
Hey everyone 👋. This month we’re starting with one of the most powerful sources of purpose: pain. 💡 Challenge: Reflect on a struggle you’ve faced and create a song (or draft/lyrics/idea) that transforms it into something meaningful. This isn’t about glorifying suffering, it’s about taking something painful that we’ve gone through and turning it into something that heals, connects, or inspires. We’ll explore this together in our Monday calls: - Sept 1 → Kickoff & Discussion (A conversation and shared reflection on struggles we’ve faced) - Sept 8 → Share Drafts for Feedback - Sept 15 → Share Refined Drafts for Feedback - Sept 22 → Share Final Products - Sept 29 (Extra Monday) → 🎉 Listening Party!! Reflection questions to get started: - What struggle has shaped you and your life most? - If you could alleviate your past self of a singular pain, what would it be? - How might you be able to use your past pain to help someone else feel less alone? Let us know what comes up for you!
