I’m building Struggle Meal Society while living it in real time.
In February, I lost my partner suddenly to a blood clot in his brain. Not long after, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and I’m still in the middle of healing. At the same time, I’m feeding my family on about $100 a week in food stamps—figuring out how to stretch every dollar, every ingredient, and every bit of energy I have.
This isn’t theory. This is real life. And it can be done. With a little thought and preparation.
What I share here comes from that place—meals that stretch, food that actually fills you up, and ways to keep going when things feel heavy. If you’re trying to make it work with what you have, you’re not alone in it.
