And the Pharisees help us KNOW it, because they were always trying to stone Him - no cocaine involved. Check it out: 1) He said He was I AM (which was the voice at the burning bush). John 8:58 "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." 2) He said He was the Lord of the Sabbath. Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28, Luke 6:5 "And he said unto them, That the Son of Man is Lord also of the sabbath." 3) He said He had the power to forgive sins. Matthew 9:6, Mark 2:10, Luke 5:24 "But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house." 4) He said, "If you've seen ME, you've seen the Father." John 14:9 "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father;" John 1:14 tells us that Jesus is the Word of God made Flesh. He's the ultimate breathing, bleeding message of who God is. We paint on canvasses, God paints with the whole moving, changing, living world. We write letters on paper, God gave us a Letter in the form of His Son. "This is who I AM. This is how I operate. This is how I think and feel and live. This is ME."
