Training Problem not a Character Problem
Why are car salesman considered some of the most untrustworthy people? I received this message from a salesman that left due to them not being training properly and couldn’t handle running on fumes all the time. As sales managers, we forget that it’s OUR job to train new car salesman. It’s our job to walk them through the process of selling a new vehicle, the proper paperwork needed to provide for finance ,building an actual relationship and not a transaction. Car sales isn’t sticky which means that every year we are searching for NEW customers UNLESS we crushed the first impression and make a lifelong customer! That’s the goal so let’s actually train new salesman to set them up for success because car sales is a blast UNLESS you flounder for months and never trained properly! Let’s change the industry from the inside out, let’s do cars the Right way!
