In this course we will dive into the world of basic spindle turning and create a Shop mallet. We will cover :- ▪️Safety. ▪️The correct orientation of blanks. ▪️How to hold the work piece safely. ▪️Correct tool choice and use. ▪️Embellishment choice and execution. ▪️Sanding and finishing. ▪️Parting off. ▪️Questions and answers. Two choices of live class Mid week or weekend. In this course I will teach how to create a cube from a log on the lathe. I'll then transform the cube into a cube inside a cube creating an impressive conversation starting puzzle for the mantle piece. This project can be turned by All levels of experience.

In this course I will go through the basics of creating multi axis projects. Including setting out , tool techniques, holding, supporting , repairing and embellishing. I will open up the online live class to a Q&A for students to ask questions about specific areas of multi axis they are looking to learn or improve on.
